• Hi,

I was trying to change my theme to Gonzo WP theme and now I get this code when trying to access the admin side of my site, or the normal version:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare soundcloud_shortcode() (previously declared in /home/content/82/8422382/html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/shortcodes/soundcloud.php:39) in /home/content/82/8422382/html/wp-content/themes/gonzo/includes/shortcodes/soundcloud-shortcode.php on line 74

I’m really not sure what the issue is here, but I really need the site back up! Any ideas?

    P.S The purchase was legitimate!

    – To rule out any theme-specific issue, try switching to the unedited default twemty twelve theme for a moment using the WP dashboard. If you don’t have access to your admin area, you can switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

-If that does not help, try deactivating ALL plugins (yes, all) temporarily to narrow down the problem. If the problem goes away, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems (because the hooks remain unless plugins completely removed or some plugins stick around in cached files. So by renaming the folder, you break them and force them inactive).
