Feature Request: Broadcast custom fields attachment urls only?

    This may be a good feature request…

    The ability to broadcast custom fields such as a featured image, but instead of sending the file/image over to the main blog’s media library, just display the original image’s url from the subsite…

    This would reduce file clutter and perhaps improve broadcast efficiency in a large blog network? What does everyone think?

    I’m running into the same problem as well. The image id is broadcasted instead of a static url.

    It currently copies over attachments and updates the post content to point to the copied attachment.

    I’m wondering whether there should be an option to copy attachments / point to original images / do nothing.

    ?
