Problem with image light box

I have just started using this theme, excellent! Well, except for one small problem I have noticed. The problem only occurs when images are viewed on an iPad, or iPhone. Most likely, the same thing happens on Android devices as well. If you are in a horizontal mode, (this only happens in horizontal, not vertical) and you tap the image to make it expand, it does, but, you cannot tap the X to close it again, all it does is shift to the opposite corner of the image. Should the image not just fit to the viewport size? And then close with a tap to the X? I solved the problem by disabling the Lightbox feature, but, that was only a short term fix, perhaps a @media to disable the Lightbox on mobile devices? For a desk top, the light box zooming is an essential.
