Number Items Per Row not working

Thanks for such amazing plugin. I am working on a project however have problem with Number Items Per Row. Reading faq this should be wrapped into div tag with class .row, however for some reason this does not happen. I tried all the predefined styles including my one where I clearly specified red border around .row however can not see this wrap tag even after inspecting with firebug. Can you please advice on how to go about this. I have fresh install an disabled all other plugins. I am not using any javascript and did not enqueue any in my custom functions.php file.
