Popular/latest posts using wrong permalinks!

I have my permalinks set to: http://www.asiancentury.com.au/%year%/%month%/%postname%/

Yet the popular posts widget is using http://www.asiancentury.com.au/%category%/%postname%/ – and of coruse these links are broken.

(pay no attention to the broken theme on subpages – that is a WHOLE different thread 🙁 )

Any help woudl be greatly appreciated.
