Anchor links issue

    Hello,
    I really like the wp-alert plugin, the only thing is that when coding a link, after pressing save, it automatically inserts several backward slashes to the anchor markup, making the url address go to a 404 page.
    For ex. if I want to code this url:
    <a href="http://homepage.com/page1/subpage/">Register now</a>

    The link will become something like that:
    <a href=\\\\\\"/homepage.com/page1/subpage\"</a>
