• Hello,

I’ve purchased the excellent Product Add-ons plugin, developed by WooThemes (http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-add-ons/).

At the moment it looks like the plugin hooks into the woocommerce_before_add_to_cart_button hook. So the options appear just above the add to cart button on the single product pages.

This is great, but what about when we are using the “add_to_cart” shortcode throughout wordpress. I need to be able to use the shortcode as usual and include the product options above the add to cart button just the same. There doesn’t seem to be any hook within the shortcode for me to hook into and for the life of me I’m struggling to find a solution to this.

Or perhaps within the plugin you could include a new shortcode so the above is possible?

This is quite urgent, as I hoped this was part of the plugin. At the moment the add_to_cart shortcode is now not really usable when product add-ons are enabled.

Is there perhaps a quick fix that I can use in the meantime before you release an update? I don’t mind paying a premium for this, as it’s needed urgently.

    Many thanks,
    Steven

  • Hi there
Did you ever get an answer to this? I’m trying to move the same plugin’s output but like you can’t find the hook. I think woocommerce is a sound plugin, pity that the support for it is absolutely awful despite paying for additional plugins 🙁
