Support » Plugin: Cloudflare » CloudFlare plugin and Comment Spam IPs

  • Hi, I’ve enabled the CloudFlare plugin on my site after setting up CloudFlare. I’m getting a big increase in the number of spam comments that are making it through and I’ve noticed that they all come from the same IP range – my hosting provider.

Does this plugin work with CloudFlare partner webhosts (that do all of the CloudFlare config automagically) or do I need to switch to manually configuring CloudFlare so that the comment IPs are correct?

    Thanks.

Ah, so it turns out that Railgun is what was breaking the ability of this plugin to return the original IPs. Since disabling Railgun everything is working fine.

    So…

Any chance you can make this plugin work with Railgun enabled on CloudFlare’s partner webhosts?
