Itemized Version Changes

    Where is the list for itemized version changes? It’d be really nice not to have to re-upload everything each time WordPress upgrades… If we (more advanced users) could just copy over the files that have been updated, that’d be great. Or, if the “upgrade” package that is downloadable from this site only included the actual files that have changed, that also would be wonderful. It’d also be great if when these archived packages are made they don’t assume a base WordPress directory. That way the base directory could be anything, and all you’d need to do is unpack the new version at where-ever your base WordPress directory might be.

    the simplest thing to do is to look at the dates inside the zip — if you compare incremental release to another, you will notice that the timestamps are only changed on the changed .. well, the changed files.
