Newer features for Facebook like button?

    The official Facebook like button offers some features that the Jetpack plugin’s BuddyPress implementation doesn’t seem to support, such as showing the photos of friends who’ve liked an article, or the ability to pop up an inline window to add a comment when you like an article. I’m wondering if there is any way to have these features added to the plugin?

    Jetpack does not include any options to edit the code behind the Facebook LIke button. If you want to use an extended version of the button (with features like Facepile, the Send button, or the comment form), I’m afraid you’ll have to use another plugin.
