• Hello

I preparing for my own WP installation (currently using wordpress.com) for an academic network at gamephilosophy.org. I would like the members to have selective editing rights to some of the pages, and one thing I would like to do is to have a bibliography page where different members can add literature references, perhaps grouped by topics such as “Fictionality in games” and the like. Of course, ideally, it would be great if the users could export references to the bibliography tool they use. However, I don’t think it is a good idea to *require* a particular bibliography tool to provide new entries, as this would be too complicated. Also, it would be nice to have the option to annotate the bibliography (“This paper argues that…”).

Can anyone recommend a solution or offer advice for how to implement such collaborative bibliography section?

  • Have you looked at this theme?

Not sure it will do what you are asking, but it has a lot of functionality in that kind of thing. There’s also a paid version so you could look at that too.

thanks for the tip! Not exactly a bibliography tool (as far as I can see) but I am definitively looking for ideas about how to construct this site. Any similar tips are very welcome…
