WordPress 3.4.2. directly to 3.5.1 ?

    Hi,

    I did never skip one version, but now I did…

    Should it be possible to update manually from WordPress 3.4.2. directly to 3.5.1 without extra / known complications?

    You should be OK. Generally speaking, anything greater than 2 versions (eg 3.1 -> 3.5) and we suggest that you carry out a series of smaller manual upgrades (see Upgrading_WordPress_Extended for the full details).

    However, deactivate all plugins and switch to the 2011 theme and backup your database before beginning the upgrade.
