• I wasn’t using the Members plugin for too long before I upgraded to WordPress 3.5 and then, days later, upgraded to the latest version of Headway themes.

After upgrading WP and Headway I didn’t see any issues. But I can’t say for sure if I looked specifically for the Headway functionality – the Headway visual editor grid view, design view, tools, etc. The dashboard editors, tables, widgets, everything else looked fine.

The Headway menus and sub-menus are nowhere to be seen until I deactivate the Members plugin. Then these menus (dashboard left sidebar and the WP bar along the top) reappear immediately.

Can someone help? I CANNOT change themes and I want to use this plugin to give me granular control with users. But right now, it locks me out of all Headway theme functionality totally.

  • Same problem here. It looks like headway breaks the members plugin. That’s a shame.

YES Same here, headway is great but it should not break with something as established as Justin’s members plugin which is afterall fine with Gravity forms and needs Gforms to make it work.

It is a little frustrating the number of stdnard plugins we seem to hit issues on with Headway.

Has anyone found a lightweight alternative. Too far in with Headway now to contemplate baby out with bath water but annoying.

    Any ideas appreciated
