127.1.0.1 shown instead of real IPs

    After restoring the blog (both the engine and the database) from a backup, I can’t see the real IP addresses of any comments posted since then. It shows 127.1.0.1 instead.
    So, all the new comments are marked as posted from 127.1.0.1.

    At the same time, WP-UserOnline plugin does show real IP addresses.

    What can be the cause?
