srp_profile not working with dejavu theme

    I’m trying to get the SREP plugin working on a new website I’m working on. The site uses the dejavu theme from mysitemyway. I suspect either I’ve got a configuration problem with the plugin, or there is some conflict with my theme.

    Here’s a page I’m trying to use the profile on:

    As you can see, the map isn’t working, and really nothing else is…

    I am also using the wp-property plugin, which has provided another set of issues, but this particular page doesn’t have wp-property usage.

    Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was able to get the plugin working on the page listed above, and generically so for the neighborhoods I’d like to add, so this is goodness.

    I was only able to get it to work by embedding the srp_profile into the page template. The profile short code still doesn’t work on any of the pages I’ve tried adding it to, but I think we’ll be good with having it available where you found it working.

    How exactly are you creating a shortcode? Are you using the shortcode generator in the editor panel? Paste your shortcode here and I’ll try it on my development machine.

    I created a test page for you to look at. Created the shortcode using the generator in the editor panel, yes.

    Here’s the page:

    Here’s what the shortcode looks like:

    Thanks for providing those details.

    I just pasted your shortcode into my brand new WP install and it works out of the box!

    Try switching to a default theme, just for testing purposes. Also, I noticed there is a JS error on that test-page, which is referencing some kind of Facebook script – if it’s a third party plugin, try de-activating it. If it’s built-into the theme, then switching to a default theme should make a difference.
