    Keep getting message
    Google Analytics is not active. You must select which Analytics Profile to track before it can work.
    then under says:
    Please authenticate with Google Analytics to retrieve your tracking code:

    Click here to authenticate with Google
    do that then says:
    The Google Analytics for WordPress by Yoast application on your computer is requesting access to your Google Account for the product(s) listed below.

    Google Analytics
    If you grant access, you can revoke access at any time under ‘My Account’. The Google Analytics for WordPress by Yoast application will not have access to your password or any other personal information from your Google Account. Learn more

    The application that directed you here claims to be “Google Analytics for WordPress by Yoast”. We are unable to verify this claim as the application runs on your computer, as opposed to a website. We recommend you deny access unless you trust the application.
    then click grant access then is says:
    Unfortunately, an error occurred while connecting to Google, please try again:Re-authenticate with Google keep trying same thing
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    Having the same issue with this plugin with WordPress 3.5. What does work is checking off “Manually enter your UA code” and entering it manually. In a sense the plugin is semi-broken….
