Awkward spacing in between paragraphs

Hello there!

I just launched a university newspaper website and am noticing that we have some really awful spacing in between our paragraphs. Shift+enter does not fix the issue, it only makes it scrunched up. (Shift+enter two times makes the space too large again.)

I’m not sure where in the .css to look for it. (Site & example article here.) The theme is Good News version 3.1 if anyone needs that info as well. I’m a beginner at css, but I have no problem going in and editing code if needed.
