I have 2 different problems, and both are talked about elsewhere on the support but my problems have not been addressed so much.

First of all – as was recently reported, if I have javascript enabled – slimstat doesn’t track anything at all. If I disable javascript – instantly it starts tracking.

However – when it starts tracking it gives me the misconfigured setting error. When I visit /wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat-js.php I get blank page.

So I logged into my server and checked the the permissions, all folders are 0755 and files are 0644 – as expected.

The front page says something about “If you moved your wp-config.php to a different location” but I haven’t moved that file to a different location at all. Its in the default location of the root directory where wordpress was installed.

So how do I fix this error is the question?

thought I’d add I am using version 2.9 so I didn’t think downgrading would be appropriate. Also I am using wordpress 3.5 if that makes a difference.

Okay lets close this post and mark it solved, I am just a little stupid is all. Somehow I must have downloaded this plugin before now, because I had two copies of it on my desktop one old and one new, and apparently I installed the wrong copy on my wordpress *sighs*

Excuse my stupidity. (still not sure why the auto-update feature didn’t pick that up and notify me of a newer version)

    No problem!

A vote for my plugin would be a nice way to say thank you!

    Cheers,
