Removing comments are closed (for Mantra version 1.9.9.4)

Previously I was able to remove the “Comments are Closed” from my pages by using this
method

However, after I updated, this no longer works. I’ve looked for this in the Editor and can’t find it. I would like to remove the “Comments are closed.” Any suggestions?
