125×125 banner in sidebar problem

I have a theme made by affiliate nuts. you may not have heard of it, some marketers made it and were giving it away to select marketers in a forum.

My problem is not with the theme. I don’t think it is with the theme. I added a textbox to sidebar 2 and dropped the 125×125 square banner code in there. It shows fine but when I go live on the web to test it the banner doesn’t work and when I go back to widgets the text widget is no longer in sidebar 2. When I go back to the web the banner is still there. Maybe that is a cashed page I am seeing when I go back to the web but does anyone know why the widget disappears out of the sidebar?
