Support » Fixing WordPress » I want to move my site in its entirety..

  • Hello,

I have a WordPress blog located here:

    http://bullriding-fanconnection.com/interviewsandevents/

It’s *fairly* standard–just mostly comprised of “Posts”, “Pages”, and, of course, a bunch of Images; not really any advanced plugins or widgets or anything. And the theme is one of the ones located on WordPress’ site that are standard and guaranteed to work with Plugins/Widgets, etc.

I understand that the way WordPress exists is that a MySQL database is set up, and WordPress’ built-in php is what fetches and retrieves things that are stored in the MySQL database, as I create Pages and Posts, and as people leave Comments and whatnot.

But what is a way I can get my entire WordPress site as it exists right now, here:

Moved to a new, fresh WordPress installation that I am going to set up in a root directory of some new web-space? I want my exact site with not only the exact same set up, but all of the Posts/Pages/Images/Comments–EVERYTHING in the new spot too.

Is there a Backup-Restore process that I can use to do that?
