Support » Networking WordPress » Paying extra for Multi-User feature in WP Themes after 3.0 update

  • Hi guys,
I’m going to buy a Theme for my WP page, but its kind of expensive (www.crowdfundingsite.net)
What my question is, when MU features were rolled into core and released with WordPress 3.0, is there any reason for me to buy the most expensive package which supports “WordPress Multi-User”.
It’s already built into the 3.5 version of WP, but could the coding in the theme block me from using it cause I didn’t buy the largest pack.
Does anyone have experience with this?

    Many thanks in advanced,
    Hjorrip

    Huh?

WordPress is free. If a third-party shop is charging you extra, well… that’s something to ask them about. GPL states you can use the theme on as many sites as you want, though they may only support it if you pay extra (which is their right).
