    Hi to all, I have migrated a wordpress site from wordpress.com to my own server. I did the operation using the xml file and it worked.

    I have question: the site on wordpress.com had more shares with facebook, twitter and other socials.

    Do you know if exist a way to recover these shares and import them to the new site?

    I think no, but I would have confirm of this.

    You’d need to have a word with the folks over at wordpress.com about this. They can export some things (like subscribers) over to your new self-hosted site but I’m not au fait with exactly what they can (and can’t) do.
