What’s the difference between ping-o-matic and direct technorati pinging ?

    Hey ..

    I was wondering why on the technori site they are suggesting that wordpress users ping technorati directly, eventhough the pingomatic service includes a ping to technoratie itself ?

    Are there any advantages in pinging them directly ? And if so , then do I just add the technorati line under the allready present pingomatic line ?
