    The problem is that the slideshow is wrapped in ‘<h2>‘ and ‘<p>‘ tags on your page. The slideshow itself consists of ‘div‘ elements, which are then placed in the aforementioned tags.

    Most browsers allow this, but Internet Explorer doesn’t. That’s what creates the big spaces around the slideshow.

    If you remove the ‘<h2>‘ and ‘<p>‘ around the slideshow, it should work on Internet Explorer as well.
