    Hi there:

I’ve been using your plugin for a while on one of my sites. Today, as part of a plugin conflict resolution exercise, I deactivated your plugin and reactivated it.

In the process, it deleted my original “Contact” page. I re-enabled it, and now my “Contact” page has a permalink of “/contact-2”.

I’d like to get rid of the -2, but it won’t take when editing the slug. Is there a method to change this?

    Thanks.

Check and see if the original contact page still sits in the trash bin in the dashboard. If so, delete it from the trash and then you should probably be able to edit the /contact-2 slug without any issues.

Well, that was just too easy.

I should have thought to check the trash.

    Thanks for your help.

It’s an easy thing to overlook. You’re welcome.
