  • I want to change the theme name

Of what theme? A Parent or the child?

I don’t want the theme name to be visible when a user goes to view source in the browser. So do I change only the original/parent theme name or the child or both?

You cannot hide the theme folder name but you still haven’t said if this is a parent or child theme.

sorry, i wasnt clear. i want to change the theme name not hide it.
I did create a child theme, so I guess the answer to your question would be child but i am not sure.
    here is the url http://texturesandmore.com/
When viewing page source it reads: http://texturesandmore.com/wp-content/themes/barelycorporate-child/style.css”

Assuming you want to change barelycorporate-child, you would need to change the theme’s folder name using FTP. This will deactivate the theme and activate 2012 (if you haven’t already made the temporary switch), so you will then need to reactivate the child theme again. If you want to change the theme’s name as it appears in Appearance -> Themes, you can do that by editing the theme’s style.css file.
