• I installed WP on my server. Now my blog is here:
    http://silvercybertech-labs.com/cyberblog

There was a problem with Italian accented characters (like these: à è é ì ò ù): if I wrote them from the WP on-line they were shown correctly, but if I used Windows Live Writer, the characters where shown uncorrectly.

So I changed the default character-set from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 (Western Europe ISO), in WP and in the settings of my blog in WLW. But, doing so, the accented characters in old posts are shown uncorrectly, but if I write new posts with WP or WLW they are ok.

Now, I edited the most recent old posts and everything seems works correctly, but if someone leave a comment with accented characters, they are shown correctly at first, but then they are shown wrong.

Is it possible to correct the both problems, comments and new posts, with WLW and with WP on-line?

  • I like your blog but that is a lot of posts on one page. Did you think about shortening the front page posts?
