[Theme: SimpleCorp] Add Media button not working

    Hi all, I have noticed since updating to wp3.5 that I am no longer able to add media to the slides.

    It also won’t allow me to update the images that are there. If I click update on the slide, it removes the image and I can not add any other images. When I try, it just stays blank.

    I go to my slide page, click on add new slide, and then select the image. This attempts to add it to the slide, but nothing is there

    Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

    EDIT: I have put WP3.4 on and the issue isn’t there. It seems to be 3.5 that has broken it

    Going to close it since I resolved it myself. No thanks to WP for issuing a buggy system.

    For those that are interested, this is how I did it.

    Make sure you back up your site and database.

    I did a fresh install of wordpress, I then deleted everything but usermeta and users table from the data base and imported backed up database minus the usermeta and users table.

    I then just uploaded the backed up wordpress site minus the wp-config.php file and it now works

    Wow, I understand, but this is scary stuff on a live commercial site. WordPress took a credibility hit on this update.

    The upgrade is more trouble than it is worth; has cost, probably millions of dollars in time, for all those who were very devoted – until now.

    WordPress has 57% of the current CMS market, growing exponentially. We would love to see that direction continue, but they are wasting some valuable capital with 3.5.
