Importing from .com to .org

    I am trying to import content from wordpress.com to wordpress.org but it is not working.

    I exported the file from wp.com and imported it to my new wp.org site but it didn’t work. I tried it again and while uploading it said all the posts, etc already existed.

    Can someone please help me with this? Thanks in advance!

    Ok I finally go the import to work, but now the issue is that the post URLs have been replaced with p=xxxx All of the posts from my wp.com site contained the post title in the URL…how do I fix this?? Thank you!
