Can I connect Jetpack to multiple websites using a single WordPress.com account or must I have a unique email/account for each site?

If it is possible, are there any drawbacks to using a single account?

Clarification: I’m not referring to multi-user/single install; I’m referring to more than one, totally separate websites which I have developed.

Of course, I do that with all of my WordPress sites.
