Posting automatically with Post Format options

    I am working on making an automated WordPress site. The problem I’m facing is I want my video posts to be easily formatted. For example If I switch my post format to video and insert the html embed. I’d like to do this via email posting or if I have to update it via mySQL. Is there any way I could do this?
