my site times out whenever I activate a plugin

    Hi all,

    My site gopacifia.org was timing out so I deactivated all plugins and I could browse it again.

    But whenever I try to activate even only one plugin, it goes down again.

    Any idea what could go wrong?

    For info this happens to me after I installed the jetpack plugin.. but I’ve deleted it and still no way to activate my plugins.

    That’s a host problem; talk to Hostgator. They’re having problems with the server your site is on.

    I contacted them already and they said the server was doing fine. In fact I have several wordpress sites on this server and they are doing ok. I’ll still contact them again.

    Increase the php timout value in php,ini.

    I could activate all my plugins but Better WP Security. Do people using this plugin have issues with wp 3.5?
