Easy SEO

So I own a company, but I’m not an SEO genius…in fact I barely know what SEO stands for. I know that it will benefit me to write in the blog, and the big Google giant will see that, and it will gradually push my page up in my local results. However: is there a plugin that’s easy that will help me? Is there a link that will help me without confusing me?
