Repeated incorrect password for Admin

    I have “forgotten” my Admin login password a few times in as many days. The thing is the first time it happened, I just click lost my password and very quickly I get a confirmation email. I click on this and a new password is sent to me. I copy and paste this and I am in the WP Admin for my site. There is a red letter instruction if I want to change to an easier password. I goto my profile duly entered a new password and updated my profile. It works okay. I diligently recorded down this new password. The next day? the exact same thing happens, my password is incorrect again and I go through the cycle again. HELP

    There’s a New Year’s Party joke here but I’ll skip that for a moment.

    The next day? the exact same thing happens, my password is incorrect again

    Can you provide a link to your installation? Either you are constantly forgetting your password (which I think would be unlikely) or something is messing with your account. That could be a plugin or you could be hacked.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I have let the auto-generated password remain. I just paste from the email. So far this is the second day and I can still log in. I want to quickly set up a website to sell beauty products. This means with paypal function. Is there any such instructions or video somewhere? Thanks.
