• I have tried searching but have not found the right information.

I currently have a WordPress site at “mydomain.com”. I am building a custom theme for Client A.

I would like to install another instance of WordPress at “mydomain.com/test/ClientA” so that Client A can view his new theme live.

Is this possible? Are there any conflicts I need to beware of? I am wary of installing two instances of WordPress until I read the right advice, as I do not want to harm my current site at “mydomain.com”.

    Thank you!

Rev. Voodoo, is there anything I should know?

I would like to first create the /test folder, and then use Fantastico to install the WordPress in that subfolder for ClientA.

    Anyone else?

I’ve never run into any issues or had any conflicts – either using subfolders or subdomains. I have both going right now.

I’ve never had to do anything special… just install and go!

Thank you — I’m going to install it and report back in a few days.
