Brand new installation – permissions problem

    Hi all,

    I had a previous installation of WP 2.2 installed, but it started coming up with “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” when logging in.

    Since there it was only a development site, I decided to upgrade to the latest version. So I deleted all the file and blew away the database (a totally fresh start).

    Downloaded and unzipped the new version (2.2.1), made the changes to the config file, created a new database and ran the install script. This all works fine – I setup a new admin account and it emails me the password.

    However, when I go to login I get the same error message – “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    The server is Plesk 8.1.1, PHP Version 4.3.9, MySQL 4.1.20.

    I have looked at many threads here and elsewhere, but none of them seem to have a certain solution to the issue.

    Any ideas?
