    I’d also like to know where are the settings – to set default dimensions?

    after installing this plugin where ever you wish to display the image just use this code

    <?php userphoto_the_author_photo() ?>
    it will return
    <img src=”user image address”>

    default dimensions can be set in

    wordpress admin -> settings -> user photo
