Posts Getting Accidentally Deleted. Any explanation?

Hi there,

I just switched from typepad to wordpress. All is great, except for the fact that when I edit old posts and click save, there are instances where the post simply gets deleted. And I know that there is no way that I am clicking delete. Can anyone offer an explanation for why this is happening?
