Multiple posts to facebook

    This is my perpetual problem with any plugin that posts my blog posts to Facebook: I can not find any pattern but some will post to facebook 2-5 times in succession. It’s to the point where people will unsubscribe to the facebook page because this is so annoying. It mostly happens on scheduled posts. As I said, it happened with OTHER plugins which is why I was trying this new one. Same problem.

    I’m looking for insight as to where this problem is occurring, in wordpress or at the server level. I know it is not the plugin but perhaps you can tell me where the issue could be considering how the plugin works.

    Most probably another plugin is causing this.
    Look for plugins that trigger/handle post status transitions.
