how do I configure categories for widget

    How do I set the categories in the widget? I have post categories set on my wordpress site but they are not showing up in the widget. Under Categories in the widget the drop-down shows “jigoshop” 3 times. The person who installed this plugin must have somehow set “jigoshop” as a test. So, the plugin seems to be working but I want to set my own categories and have the blog posts feed automatically to the categories.

    It seems like something very simple. Please help me get this configured correctly. I don’t know what version of WordPress I’m using or how to find that out.
