• I tried two new themes from the http://themes.wordpress.net/ list, downloaded, unzipped and then uploaded into my site’s directory wp-content/themes/ and into folders named the same as the theme name.

When I do to the dashboard I see both of them and the editor lists their files once I select either one. But when I click view site the page comes up blank. Switching back to the other theme i have been using – one called pool that came as one of the defaults – eveything is fine. I have switched to other default themes and they all work but these two called Greenart-10 and Oceanbech-10 don’t.

Any suggestions?

No, that didn’t do anything.

I went to the view HTML on the browser and all there is:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>
<html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml”

My site is robboyce.com/blog if that helps any

It worked for me, other than your photo is off in the sidebar.

I was working on it and reloaded the one that works when you tried it.

Maybe I should try some other themes – I am looking for a three column – any suggestions on where to get one?

then you should try to look at the theme’s index.php , maybe the code/loop is not design for your version. you have version 2.0.2 , what theme shows blank?

about 3columns, i “think” it will limits your content space. beside the 2 other columns will be too small to display something else. that’s is my opinion 🙂

but if you know the theme’s name and link, it would be good for us to check it.

cheers
