I updated my blog some days ago automatically update. And there was some error i.e i was not able to do new post
Then i think to downgrade the wordpress
then i downgrade according to the following procedure

    1. First you need to be able to access your web host through FTP or a file manager (most web hosts have one in their control panel). Something that will allow you to actually view the files and folders that make up your web site. After you figure out how to do that, go to the next step.

    2. Then you need to download WordPress 3.2.1 to your computer and expand it so that you can see the individual files.

    3. Then you upload all the WordPress v.3.2.1 files (EXCEPT the folder named “wp-content” and the file named “wp-config.php”) from your computer to your web site (through FTP or file manager) and overwrite the existing WordPress v.3.3 files when asked.

Finally, when you next try to log in to the WordPress admin interface, you will see an alert that the database needs updating. You then allow the update to proceed, and presto, you’re back to version 3.2.1

I have done all the procedure. but in the end when i try to open wp-admin then it appears a white blank page.

Then i again uploaded the new version of wordpress according to the above procedure. but the problem is still there.

    My blog is http://www.civilengineeringterms.com
Can anyone figure it out. I will be really very very thankful…

hope your DB is not messed up by these cycles of upgrade and downgrade, then upgarde…

Blank white page could be a PHP error. Reasons you’d get that error are: 1) Bad theme 2) Bad plugin 3) Bad upgrade
1 and 2 are the most common. So, start with the first step of troubleshooting:

-deactivating ALL plugins (yes, all) temporarily to narrow down the problem. If the problem goes away, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems (because the hooks remain unless plugins completely removed or some plugins stick around in cached files. So by renaming the folder, you break them and force them inactive). If applicible, also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder. The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old
    – To rule out any theme-specific issue, try switching to the unedited default twenty twelve theme for a moment using the WP dashboard. If you don’t have access to your admin area, you can switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
-If the above troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, try manually re-uploading all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory from a fresh download of WordPress. This should replace your core files without changing your content and settings in wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. Read the Manual Update directions first!

-Always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case.
