those are somewhere in your Theme folder
in one of the template files
maybe header.php
or Main Index Template which is index.php
you could look for them by going in your Admin > Presentation > Theme Editor > check header and other files, look for a word that stands out like “Galleries”
OK i found them and understand how they work now.
BUT
I want to keep the “Favorites” one, which adds my site to the user’s favorites. How to I ‘activate’ it, b/c right now, when you click it, nothing happens.
admin – >Manage -> Pages
Favorites should be listed as a page. Click on edit and add to it.
It’s not listed as a page, and I don’t want to add MY favorite links to show others, I want to have a button that adds my website to the clicker’s favorites in their browsers. The theme I downloaded has this button, but it doesn’t actually add it, it’s just ‘blank’
you should probably not use their built in method, but, rather, find a plugin or widget that helps them subscribe to your site

To me, a “Favorite this site” link is not useful. Everyone’s web browser already has that function built-in.
WordPress is blessed with much stronger ways for your readers to remember you when they go away, such as RSS feeds (built in), or plugins like Subscribe2.
Also, if you take a look at my site, it has 2 sidebar boxes, is there a way to get rid of one of them? I’ve tried everything and I can’t figure it out. When I look at the code “siderbar1” and “sidebar2” are used a LOT, so it’s not like I can just delete on line of code it seems.
