Very High CPU Usage.

    I am struggling for High CPU Usage since a year now.
    I was using the COMFY theme by DeluxeThemes, then changed to a new one called NEWS again by same company. Even after their patch, the problem still exists. Migrated from Shared to Dedicated (which was costing me 250$/mo) and even yet I had problems until the support provided me a patch, which improved this.

    I decided to go back to a shared account because I thought the problem was fixed by the patch… but it was a bad idea!

    I got today suspended from Hostgator because of the HIGH load. finally, they suggested me to turn on a setting in my WP Super Cache plguin (mod_rewrite). they unblocked me now.

    I am really worried and I dont want another block. How can I prevent this?

    Should I simply change me theme? or I should go back to a dedicate account? Any other suggestion?

    Do make sure you are using caching for your WordPress setup. If the problem still persists, you may need to get some hand-coded optimization to the theme – this optimization would be specific to your site so hire a consultant and get it done.
