    Where to locate ” .maintenance file found in the WordPress root/base folder,” I am having issues upgraging to 3.5

    It’s a hidden file (the period before the file name indicates a hidden file in Linux/Unix) that will be located in the same folder as your wp-config.php file, i.e., the root directory where you have installed WordPress. You may need to enable viewing hidden files in your FTP client or file manager to see it.
