I am having a problem showing the full posts about upcoming events.

I have EventCalendar3 and in the docs for that it says –

Q: Where are my events? I can see future events in the calendar / event list, but when I click on them, WordPress won’t show them to me.

A: Did you set the ‘Post Timestamp’ instead of using the ‘Event Editor’? If you set the post timestamp into the future, then WordPress thinks you don’t want to show it to people until that date.

So according to this, if I want to see the post I have to change the time stamp to something before today. But in Codex it says –

By default, at the time the post is saved, that will be the date and time of the post within the database. To change this, click the checkbox and change the date and time information. All posts dated in the future will not appear on the site until that time has passed. If you wish to write posts that will automatically appear on your schedule, set the date and time here.

I need to have events listed in the calendar, and still be able to see the full post of both future and past events. I like EventCalendar3, but am open to using a different plugin if something else would be a better fit for my needs.

Never mind – it works just fine once I understand the directions.

    For others –
Set Event time for when the event actually is happening.
Add Event time/date info to post
Leave time stamp for when you added it.
