    Hi Everyone.

I just upgraded to Version 2.2 Getz, and everything went smoothly, and most of my plugins work but when I click on comments rss feed i get this error:

    in IE7:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

    ——————————————————————————–

Only one top level element is allowed in an XML document. Error processing resource ‘http://www.newworldjournal.com/?feed=c…

    <rss version=”2.0″
    -^

Is anybody else having this or know what I can do to fix it?

The posts rss is fine, its just the comments one.

    Many Thanks

    Martin

  • A link to the comments feed would be helpful to folks who might want to have a look.

    Hi Handy

Thanks for the quick reply, Sorry I wasnt sure If you were allowed to post links etc.

Here is the link I was using to the comments feed.

    http://www.newworldjournal.com/?feed=comments-rss2

Thats how I had it set up on my site before the upgrade, you can see the actual link to it from the site too.

Everything else seems to work fine, just that.

(Im still building the site, so its good to get everything ironed out):) before I launch it.

    Many Thanks

    Martin

Ok, your feed is actually showing an error from whatever you’re using for sticky posts:

    <p class='wpdberror'><strong>WordPress database error:</strong> [Unknown table 'wp_sticky' in field list]<br />
      3: <code> SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wp_posts.*, wp_sticky.sticky_status FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND wp_posts.ID IN (6,6,6,6,12) ORDER BY (wp_sticky.sticky_status = 2 AND wp_sticky.sticky_status IS NOT NULL) DESC, DATE_FORMAT(wp_posts.post_date,'%Y-%m-%d') DESC, (wp_sticky.sticky_status = 1 AND wp_sticky.sticky_status IS NULL) DESC, DATE_FORMAT(wp_posts.post_date,'%T') DESC LIMIT 0, 10</code>

If you’re using Adhesive, you’ll want to find an update (It doesn’t work with the 2.1/2.2 branches).

*wp sticky it was sorry, not Adhesive* I will see if there is an updated version of this plugin available.

    Thanks again

How did you get that extra information to see what was up?

If viewing a feed with Firefox, just hit View Source to see what’s really going on without all the “prettification”.

    Or use Opera. 😉
