Images won't load from Photon CDN with 2.04

Not sure what’s going on. Photon 2.02 was working fine with WP 3.4x, but after installing WP 3.5 and Jetpack 2.04, none of my images will load–just get a broken image icon if Photon is enabled.

The error message is: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)

or if I copy the missing image URL (i2.wp.com…) into a new window and try and load it, I get an answer of “We cannot complete this request, remote data was invalid.”
