• i’ve searched the forum and only found topics related to creating redirects to another blog, site, etc.

my problem is different. i migrated my wordpress install from my old host to a new host just a few hours ago. everything is up and running except for one thing. my wordpress thinks that the blog is still located at the old host, thereby giving me http://old-host.com/post_url instead of http://new-host.com/post_url. how do i correct this?

even my wp-admin redirects to the old host’s domain name. so when i type in http://new-host.com/wp-admin, it automatically redirects to http://old-host.com/wp-admin.

however links in my posts, such as when i write `post, show up correctly and links to http://new-host.com/post_url.

try to see for yourself. my new address is at http://www.mangledcorpse.com

    any help would be appreciated

here’s what i did during the whole migration process. feel free to tell me what i did wrong, or what i missed out.
    1. backup database and the whole wordpress installation from my old host
    2. restored everything to my new host
    3. changed wp-config and replaced old info on sql database to the new info

i know i missed something.. replacing all link that go to my old host and change it to the new domain name in the SQL database?

i’m not sure though. and if it’s the answer to everything.. i don’t know how to do it.

thanks a lot for the feedback.
